Neuro Talent Show for the Buckeye Food Alliance!

Support the Buckeye Food Alliance by attending, or better yet, performing in our Neuroscience Talent Show!Acts and talents of all kinds are welcome to sign up for auditions (specific directions for performers participation listed below). If you act, sing, dance, play an instrument, tell jokes, or perform feats of daring-do and athleticism, now is your time to shine and prove that neuroscience students are more than just a pretty brain!If you’d rather just plan to attend, there is a special RSVP for audience members to be reminded when we get closer to the event. There are 300 seats open for the one-night-only revue, so make sure you reserve your spot early – because once they are gone, they are gone! We ask that you bring 2 items of non-perishable food (or $3) in donation to the Buckeye Food Alliance as your entrance fee.Prizes will be awarded to the top three acts, and door prizes will be raffled off to audience members. Bring 4 items of non-perishable food (or $5) to enter to win a Nintendo Switch!    Over $2000+ prizes are available for performers and attendees – all for your commitment and participation in this philanthropic effort to help eliminate food insecurity in the OSU community.  For the performers: $1000 for 1st Place, $500 for 2nd Place, and $250 for 3rd place.  There will also be an Honorable Mention category with an award of $50.  For our attendees who bring at least 4 non-perishable food items: they will be entered into a raffle for a Nintendo Switch and many different gift cards to local restaurants and stores in the Columbus Area. Directions for those wishing to attend (not as performers):RSVP here.We will send you an email in November reminding you of the event.Get your friends to RSVP!Directions for performers at the Talent Show for Consideration:RSVP here. - SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSEDYou must be, or at least one member of your group must be, a neuroscience major or minor.Be available the week of Sept. 24-28 after 5pm for Call Backs/Final Selection, an email will be sent from a Neuroscience advisor following your initial submission if you are considered for final selection.Email neuroadvising@osu.edu with any questions.
