Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Bio: As I enter my second year at Ohio State University, I have two main goals: passing organic chemistry and making a positive impact on the lives of others. Within my major, I serve as an undergraduate researcher in the McTigue Spinal Cord Injury lab and facilitate the success of new students through my role as a Neuroscience Core Ambassador. Outside of academics, I am a Trip Leader and Climbing Instructor at the Outdoor Adventure Center on campus, where I share the technical, physical, and mental aspects of rock climbing – my favorite pastime. Whether researching neurological trauma or supporting students in their personal growth, I believe the greatest empowerment comes from empowering others.
