Women in Neuroscience

Resource blog for Women in Neuroscience

Almost 60% of our neuroscience majors are women. Yet, women still face many unique challenges in the sciences and other professional careers. Because of this, the neuroscience major program started a blog to compile resources, events, and discussions about some of these issues in order to support the professional development of women. We also recognize that women's issues not only affect women - so these resources are equally open to men, non-binary individuals, and other underrepresented and marginalized groups who deal with or have questions about gendered and intersectional topics in the scientific workforce.

An excellent starting place for reading is Careers and Training - Women in Neuroscience from the Society for Neuroscience (SfN).

Additionally, OSU offers comprehensive resources for women at all stages in their career.

We also invite you to submit your own ideas for links to content or original content to neuroadvising@osu.edu.
