Outreach

The neuroscience program is committed to fostering a public interest in science and making it accessible to the community. The program hosts a number of volunteer outreach events, including ICAN (I Can Do Science) where students display real human and animal brains and play neuroscience-related games with members of the local Columbus community or greater midwest area.

The neuroscience program also holds open houses for new and interested students. This allows the student to learn more about the neuroscience program and the neuroscience curriculum. The students can meet with the neuroscience advisors to ask any questions and to discuss possible career opportunities with a neuroscience major/minor.
