Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Post-graduation career plans: PhD in Cognitive Development with a focus on educational applications

Bio: As part of the I-Can outreach team, I have further developed my passion for education and have loved the opportunity to teach students across the country. I’ve also had the privilege of researching various aspects of cognition, including children’s numerical acquisition at Johns Hopkins Lab for Child Development, and recognition-induced forgetting in Dr. Maxcey’s Visual Memory Lab at OSU. Last year, I had the honor of  serving as President of Nu Rho Psi: National Honor Society in Neuroscience, coordinating relationships between students and faculty in neuroscience. When I get the chance, I love to run, read, or watch Gilmore Girls.
