Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Post-graduation career plans: medical school

Bio: I am a fourth year and I was born in Erbil, Kurdistan and raised in Columbus, Ohio. This is my second year being an Ambassador and through the opportunity to learn from upperclassmen and guide incoming freshman, I have come to understand just how much supporting others can help them succeed. Outside of the library, I work in Dr. Khan’s Cardiovascular Regeneration lab where we study hIPSC-cardiomyocytes and I volunteer at Riverside Hospital and Northwest Library helping those in need. My interests run far and wide, but I love the clubs I am a part of, photography, exploring nature, learning languages, and meeting new people, so remember to say hi if you see me!
