The Office of Admissions in the College of Medicine and the Women in Medicine group would like to extend an invitation to you to participate in a Mentorship program which will serve pre-med female students at OSU. Mentoring has been proven to be one of the most effective methods for students in achieving their educational and career goals. Medical students are eager to assume the role of a mentor for pre med female students in an effort to help you prepare for medical school and share their knowledge and experiences. We believe this program will provide a valuable resource and educational experience for all of you as you explore a career in medicine.
It is our hope that we will have an enthusiastic response. However, we will be able to match only the first 150 students at this first attempt to establish this program. We are planning an initial get together event for all mentors and mentees on January 28th, 2014. More information will be sent to those who will participate in the program.
