Bio: Over the past two years I have had the fortune of being surrounded by some of the brightest, enjoyable, and most dedicated individuals that I have ever met through the neuroscience program. Not only are these people spectacular in every way, but they supported me to push myself to my fullest potential. They helped me see that success is a team effort and we lift everyone up when we help one another. I have recently taken a leadership role in the Neuroscience Ophthalmology Internship, and I have an absolute blast helping my peers explore the clinical side of medicine and discussing current medical topics that we all will face. I also spend my time helping in a research lab dealing with axonal regeneration in the central nervous system. My hobbies include reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, working out, playing video games with friends, and eating too many Sour Patch Kids.
