Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

Bio: As a senior who is nothing less than heartbroken about leaving the neuroscience major, I am overjoyed to be on leadership this year under the course assistant program. I have been an Ambassador for three years now, and have grown exceedingly passionate about this major and the outstanding people who have made it what it is today. I became a course assistant for Dr. Boyd’s neuroscience 3000 class my sophomore year, and quickly discovered how enriching of an experience it can be to work with peers one-on-one in a class room setting. By helping with proctoring exams and holding review sessions, a course assistant can look at a lecture through a professor’s eyes, and see just how much work goes into our excellent higher education programs in the neuroscience major. I am excited to finish out my time here at Ohio State surrounded by the amazing neuroscience students and faculty.
