ANRE Fellowship is sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences and the Neuroscience Undergraduate Program

The Neuroscience Undergraduate Program is pleased to announce the 2026 ANRE Fellowship: Access to Neuroscience Research Experience for Ohio State undergraduates.

This fellowship is designed specifically for students who have not yet had research opportunities at the collegiate level. Early exposure to research can be a powerful asset, helping students build competitive skills for jobs after graduation and strengthening applications for graduate programs and professional schools such as medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy.

This paid summer program provides early-stage exposure to neuroscience research by placing selected students in active research laboratories at Ohio State. Each fellow will be matched with a primary mentor and lab, gaining hands-on experience with a variety of research techniques and day-to-day scientific practices.

This year there will be two fellowships being offered:

ANRE FELLOWSHIP:

  • This Fellowship appointment will be for 20 hours per week at $15/hour for 8 weeks, with specific schedules determined collaboratively between the mentor and trainee. In addition, fellows will receive a $500 award to help offset living expenses during the program.
