Snehalaya (which means Home of Love in Hindi) is an Indian-based organization that provides relief to the country’s most marginalized groups—victims of trafficking, poverty, rape, domestic abuse, and HIV/AIDS. Snehalaya supports those individuals through rehabilitation, education, and healthcare. Neuroscience student Rashmi Rege leads Snehalaya, which was able to make a donation as well as influence Terracon, a national engineering company, to donate a total of $1,100 through gift-matching provided by Snehalaya.
